About Hayley

Hayley profile.jpg

As a Chartered Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor with over 17 years experience Hayley has a wealth of understanding on the impact that injury, illness & inactivity can have on a person’s health, body and mind.   It was whilst recovering from her own illness however, that she discovered yoga and meditation. Inspired by the boost to strength, energy, and clarity after classes, Hayley trained as a yoga teacher in 2015 to offer the same benefits to her patients and further specialised to work with children, pre/post natal clients and those with long term illnesses.

After achieving a Masters in neuroscience Hayley continued to explore the benefits of practice for the body and also the mind, further training to become a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher.  The more she explored, the more similarities she discovered in all areas and Latitude Wellbeing was born, to create a dynamic blend of the philosophy and mindful practices of the East with the research background and medical knowledge of the West.

Hayley continues to develop an interest in yoga philosophy, breath and mindfulness practices as well as continuing post graduate qualifications in oncology rehabilitation and Women’s Health. This combination allows a unique approach of mindful rehabilitation to help improve movement and general wellbeing for all abilities, ages, and health conditions.

As time has gone on, Hayley has discovered a passion for education and now works with The Minded Institute, the NHS and Macmillan to teach experiential anatomy and cancer training as well as offering mindfulness, stress management and wellbeing workshops.

When not on her mat, Hayley can usually be found playing with her two wonderful little boys, exploring, enjoying Tai chi or drinking tea.
